# Kept recordings

> What happens when you keep a Facecast take: it is stored with your account with its layouts, marks and screenshots, chapters you can copy, and an optional copy in Media.

Press **Keep in Facecast** after a take and it is stored with your account, with its layouts, marks and screenshots.

## Chapters

Layout and source switches become chapters. Copy them as lines for a video description:

## Screenshots

Each shot keeps its time, what was on stage, a caption and a star. Your AI can caption and star them through the door.

## Save to Geenius OS Media

You can save a copy to your Geenius OS Media library. Facecast does not copy anything to Media on its own.

## The limit

Plans count kept recordings: 200, 400 or 1000. `recordings usage` tells you where you are.
