# looks

> Reference for the looks tool of Facecast: saved studio presets, with every action and the scene format.

Source: https://facecast.geenius.io/docs/reference/looks/

Saved studio presets of the person: layout, bubble shape and border, background mode. The studio opens with the default Look.

Call it as `geenius_facecast(tool: "looks", action: "<action>", args: {...})` through Geenius OS.

## Actions

| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| `create` | Saves a new Look from a name and a scene. |
| `delete` | Deletes a Look for good; confirm must be the Look's id. |
| `list` | The person's Looks, the default first. |
| `set_default` | Makes a Look the default (on:false clears it). |
| `update` | Renames a Look and/or replaces its scene. |

> [!TIP]
> Ask for the exact arguments of any action with `action: "help", of: "create"`. The server answers from its own definitions, so that answer is always current.

> [!NOTE]
> A scene has any of layout (camera, bubble, split, content), transition (cut, morph, fade), bubble (shape, position, size, border, shadow), split (side, ratio, gutter), camera (mirror, zoom, background engine and mode) and content (fit, padding, radius, letterbox). Unknown keys are refused, and a refusal names the path to fix. Pictures and videos are chosen by the person in the studio.
